How to manage warranty

Before claiming a warranty, ensure that the following preconditions are met:

    1. Set Serial Key for Products: Enable the serial key option in the settings module. Navigate to Settings > Product Settings and set "Use Serial Key" to "Yes".

    1. Set Serial Key During Purchase: When receiving purchased products, set the serial key either manually or by importing it from an Excel sheet.


    1. Set Serial Number During Sale: When performing a sale, add a serial number for each item sold.

Warranty Management

    1. Configure Criteria:
      • Service Center: Add your company's service center names.
      • Service Type: Define service types.
      • Claimed Product Condition: Specify product conditions.
    1. Claim Warranty:
      • Navigate to the Warranty Management module.
      • Add a new warranty with product details.
    1. Manage Warranty Process:
      • Product Checking: The staff checks the product and sets the appropriate status.
      • Manage Product: Edit the status of the product and set it to the next stage.
    1. Service Invoice:
      • Create a service invoice for products that require servicing.
      • Set the status of the product to "Ready for Delivery" once servicing is complete.
    1. Warranty Delivery:
      • Set the product status to "Make Delivery" to initiate the delivery process.
      • Once delivered, the product will be listed in the "Warranty Delivered" menu.
    1. View Warranty Stock:
      • Monitor warranty stock from the designated menu.
    1. Track Claimed Products:
      • Access the list of claimed warranty products for reference.
    1. Service Invoice Management:
      • Access service invoices and view deleted invoices if necessary.
